Gok Wan and Sharon Osbourne were among the familiar faces at the Edinburgh International TV Festival this weekend.

Fashion guru Gok opened this year’s festival with a show reflecting on the best and worst dressed in British broadcasting – plucking a few brave industry names from the crowd to undress on stage.

But the How To Look Good naked presenter seemed just as comfortable posing for cameras after working his magic on stage at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre.

And the stylist assured waiting fans that the makeover show was alive and well. He said: “I absolutley believe that everyone wants a good bit of fashion. Makeover shows are just happening.

“Show like Naked have come along and it’s a different flavour, it’s great.”

Also putting in an appearance on the opening day was star guest Sharon Osbourne.

The former X factor judge offered first hand experience to an audience on why celebs sign up to appear on reality TV shows in a seminar entitled “I’m A Celebrity: Get Me On TV”.
