Police hunt chino and tie wearing trio after attack

By Rory Reynolds

POLICE are hunting for three men after a young man was attacked outside a nightclub over the weekend.

The 20-year-old man suffered a broken tooth out after arguing with the group, who were all wearing chino shirts and red ties.

The group fled in a white Ford Fiesta after the attack took place outside Garibaldi’s nightclub in Edinburgh.

The men, all white and in their twenties, fled the city’s Hanover Street before police arrived.

A spokesman for Lothian and Borders Police said: “At this time there is little information about the circumstances surrounding the incident and we are asking anyone who was in or around Hanover Street about 1.30am and can assist with our enquiries to contact police immediately.

“Similarly, anyone who recognises the description of the men believed to be involved or the vehicle they used is also asked to come forward.”
