A 72-YEAR-OLD woman was taken to hospital after the car she was traveling in collided with a minibus.

The crash happened at around 4pm yesterday (Thur) on the A702 near Flotterstone, Penicuik.

The woman, who was not driving the car, was checked over by ambulance staff at the scene before being taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for a “precautionary check”.
