SCOTS singing sensation SuBo has revealed how her crippling childhood shyness almost prevented her becoming a star.
The 50-year-old from Bathgate, West Lothian, revealed to her 1.5 million Facebook followers that she backed out of singing a solo as a child.
She wrote: “I was picked for a solo once but choirs, for me, were about hiding behind other people.
“I was quite shy back then – hard to believe after everything that’s happened.
“My advice is don’t bottle it up. Follow your dream.”
Her third album, Someone To Watch Over Me, will be released on November 7.
