Cycling policy discusses at local event

The meeting will compare Edinburgh and Oxford cycling policy and networks

CYCLING policy and networks in Edinburgh and Oxford are to be compared at an Edinburgh seminar later this month.

Campaign croup spokes has arranged the topic to dominate their autumn public meeting.

Councillor Gordon Mackenzie, the transport convener for Edinburgh council, and Richard Mann, a sustainable transport consultant and member of Cyclox, the Oxford Cycle campaign, will speak at the event.

Audience members will be able to pose the pair questions.

The meeting will take place on November 17 at the Augustine United Church on George IV Bridge, Edinburgh and starts at 7.30pm
