Listen you here to me: Rab C struggles to sell his mansion

The Grade II listed property has been owned by Gregor Fisher for three years

RAB C NESBITT actor Gregor Fisher has slashed more than £100,000 off the price of his English home in a desprate bid to sell it.

The seven bedroomed Georgian mansion has been on the market with a £735,000 price tag for over a year.

But Gregor, 56, and wife Vicki Burton have taken £135,000 off the asking price as they are desperate to move to France after living in the property for just three years.

They are now asking £600,000 and changed estate agents in the hope of attracting a buyer.

The house, in Spalding, Lincolnshire, features a wine cellar, a double garage and a pizza oven in the spacious grounds.

It dwarfs the humble council flat Fisher’s most famous character shared with on-screen wife Mary Doll.

Since buying the property, Gregor and his wife have redecorated and fitted a new kitchen.

A source at Fine Property, which is handling the sale, said: “We have only recently begun marketing the property.

“The new price reflects the general down-turn in the market but there is now the opportunity for someone to get a real bargain.

“The house is absolutely stunning, Gregor has spent a fortune renovating, it is in a great location and when the market improves it will likely shoot up in value.”
