Emergency services were called to Frogston road, Edinburgh at approximately 7.45 this morning following reports of a two car collision.
The driver of the white citron van involved in the head on collision was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, where his injuries are not believed to be serious.
No one else was injured in the incident.
Frogston road remained closed until 9.30am causing disruption to rush hour traffic.
