JCB stolen from farm

The digger was taken from Campend Farm

AN £80,000 JCB has been stolen from a farm in Midlothian.

The yellow and grey digger was stolen sometime between 4.30pm on Friday and 7.30am on Monday from a compound at Campend Farm, Dalkeith.

A Lothian and Borders Police spokesman said: “Anyone who was in the area over the weekend, who noticed any suspicious activity, should contact police immediately.

“Likewise anyone else who has any information that can assist our inquiries should also get in touch.”
