Police release CCTV in robbery appeal

DETECTIVES making enquiries into a robbery at a grocery store in Scone a fortnight ago have released CCTV images in a bid to identify a man who was in the store at the time of the incident.

The Co-op in Perth Road was robbed of a sum of cash by a man in his 20s at about 9.50pm on Thursday, March 15.

No one was injured in the incident.

Police are looking for a man who was wearing a blue checked top

Officers want trace a man who was in the store at the time and who can be seen in the CCTV images.

He can be seen wearing a blue and black-coloured checked jacket with the hood up, dark jeans and blue or purple-coloured shoes.

 

Anyone who knows who this man is or who has information that could assist enquiries should call Tayside Police on 0300 111 2222, or speak to any officer. Alternatively information can be passed anonymously via the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
