Fife shop robbed at knife-point

A MAN robbed a Fife shop at knife-point today.

The suspect walked into Mossgreen shop in Crossgates at around 7.15am and took hundreds of pounds after threatening staff with the weapon.

He made off in a grey or silver car. Witnesses describe the man as being of medium height and build and wearing a jacket and balaclava or hat.

Detective Sergeant Jimmy Adamson, who is leading the investigation, said: “We have already had a good response from the public and I would like to thank them for their assistance so far, however we are keen to speak to anyone else who was in the area at the time of the attack.”
