Serious assault in Inverness



A 27 year-old man has been arrested in relation to an alleged serious assault, which took place within a house in the Merkinch area of Inverness, about 1am on Thursday, 27 March, 2012.

A man is expected to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court on Saturday 7 April, 2012.

The victim, a 29 year old man, was injured and is receiving treatment at Raigmore Hospital. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
