A BODY found in the middle of Edinburgh has been identified.

Alan Templeton, 25, from Dalcapon, Ballinluig, was discovered on the Salisbury Craggs on Friday, March 9.

A full forensic examination of the remains was undertaken after a member of the public discovered them last month.

There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding Mr Templeton’s death and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
