CANNABIS plants worth £56,000 have been discovered in a house in Fife.

Around 200 cannabis plants were recovered yesterday at the property in Kilconquhar and a 53 year old man appeared at Cupar Sheriff Court today in connection with offences under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

Chief Inspector Jill Harper said: “I would like to thank our local community for providing the information which led to the recovery of such a large quantity of controlled drugs and for their ongoing assistance in identifying those within our communities who sell or use illegal drugs.”
