Body of St Andrews woman pulled from sea


A MISSING St Andrews woman has been found dead in Northumbria.

Audrey Evans went missing from the Fife town two weeks ago.

Her body was recovered from the sea yesterday.

North East Fife Chief Inspector Jill Harper said: “I am sorry that this is not the result everyone was hoping for and our sympathies go to the family and friends of Audrey Evans.

“I would like to thank the efforts of everyone who assisted us over the last two weeks for their hard work and dedication.”
