Pigs stolen in dairy raid



MORE than 40 pigs have been stolen from a farm in Ross-shire.

The thieves also made off with several tonnes of pig feed in the raid on Novar Dairy

On April 2 staff discovered several animals and animal feed had been stolen from the dairy, near Evanton.

During the month of March approximately 42 pigs and three tonnes of pig feed were stolen from the farm.

Anyone with any information regarding this incident or anyone who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the surrounding area at the time are requested to contact Alness Police Station on 01349 882222 or anonymously contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
