Police seek witnesses after man injured



FIFE Constabulary is appealing for witnesses to an incident which took place near Alexander Rise, Glenrothes, in the early hours of Wednesday, May 9 2012.

The incident, which left a man with serious injuries, took place in the wooded area near to Alexander Rise. Police are appealing for information from anyone who was in the area at the time.

Detective Sergeant Stewart Andrew, who is leading the enquiry, said: “This incident resulted in a man sustaining serious injuries which, although not life threatening, resulted in him being taken to hospital.

“I am appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time or who may have information regarding this incident to contact Fife Constabulary directly on 0845 600 5702, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
