Man connected with housebreakings appeared in Sheriff Court



FIFE Constabulary confirmed that a man, 26, appeared at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court yesterday in connection with seven housebreakings committed in the Kirkcaldy area, between 13 and 15 May 2012.

Detective Constable Kim Stuart, who led the enquiry, said:

“Fife Constabulary is committed to tackling crime and we will always strive to deliver for the people of Fife.

“Enquiries led us to identify the man responsible for seven break-ins to houses in the Kirkcaldy area and also to successfully recover some of the property taken during these crimes.

“I would like to thank the public for their invaluable assistance in this and in other enquiries and remind them that we can be contacted on 0845 600 5702 or via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 should they wish to pass on further information.”
