Cup final policing – 1896 style

With their groomed moustaches and heavy uniforms, this is how Lothian and Borders police looked last time Hibs and Hearts clashed in a Scottish cup final.

Posted on the Lothian and Borders Police blog, the 1896 image shows officers from West Lothian, which now forms the F division of the force.
