Mother who posted pic of son covered in vomit forced to close Facebook page after receiving abuse

FACEBOOK trolls have forced a mother to close her Facebook page after she posted a picture of her drunken son following a Neknominate challenge.

Nicki Hunter uploaded the shocking image of her son semi-conscious and covered in vomit after he downed three bottles of spirits.

Nicki, 40, from Prestonpans, East Lothian, took the tough decision to share the picture in a bid to end the drinking craze sweeping the internet.

His mother first feared he might be dead and placed him in the recovery position to assist his breathing.

But she and Keiren, 19, have been swamped with abusive and vile comments from people all over the world.

Facebook trolls claim Nicki is a “bad mum” for posting the picture and described student Keiren

Facebook trolls have been accusing Nicki of being a “bad mum” and branding Keiren as a “pathetic little boy.”

By yesterday afternoon, Nicki had had enough and took her Facebook page offline. She declined to comment when contacted for comment.

The picture, shared around the world over 100,000 times, has been removed from the social media site but the trolls have still been targeting the family from Prestonpans.

Facebook user Sophie Louise posted Keiren: “Seriously. Grow the f*** up you lazy, stupid, pathetic little boy.”

Keiren admitted: “I’ve had nothing but abuse from it so has my mum pretty shocking.”

“She’s in hysterics, not nice seeing her like that people calling her a bad mum.”

Before closing her account, Nicki posted: “My son is going to be famous for all the wrong reasons.

“The picture I put up yesterday went viral.

“I only wanted to show folk how stupid the neck nominations were.

“I’ve had enough hate mail, I just want it done with now.”

The student from Prestonpans, East Lothian, had accepted a dare to film himself downing a deadly mixture of Vodka, Whiskey, Southern comfort, Bacardi and Sherry – topped off with Irn Bru.

His mother first feared he might be dead or dying and placed him in the recovery position to assist his breathing.
