Excitement at university gym as All Blacks’ training schedule “leaked”

FEMALE students will be booking extra gym time at Edinburgh University this week – after the training times of the All Blacks rugby squad were apparently leaked.

The 34-strong team of hunks is using the university’s gym to get in perfect physical condition for their Sunday clash with Scotland.

The supposed training times of the squad – described as “hot as hell” – were written on a whiteboard.

And within hours, a photograph of the board was circulating on social media.

Female fans were quick to comment. Jodie Wilson asked: “Anyone fancy a trip to Edinburgh?”

And Ruth Loggie said: “I’m on my way.”

Under the title “All Blacks”, the training times, according to the picture, are Tuesday 3pm – 5:30pm, Wednesday 8:30am – 10am, Thursday 10am – 12pm, Friday 8:30am – 10am and Saturday 11:45am – 12:15am.

The Edinburgh University Engineering Ladies Netball Team Facebook page, alongside the question: “Let’s train a lot this week?!”

Enthusiastic netball player Kate Green commented: “I’m missing training for work, but pass my number onto the hottest one.”

The hunky team is renowned for its ‘Haka’, a traditional ancestral war dance which is performed at the beginning of each match in a bid to intimidate opponents.

Athletes

The athletes have been described as “great players” who are “hot as hell” on some Facebook appreciation sites.

Their match against Scotland on Saturday will be at 5:30pm at Murrayfield in Edinburgh.

The training schedule was initially posted on student website ‘The Tab Edinburgh’ with the caption: “You’re welcome.”

The All Blacks trained at the same gym in 2012 – before beating Scotland 51-22.

A spokeswoman for the university said she was not aware of any such whiteboards in the gym that would be visible to the public.

She declined to comment any further.
