PETA give pair of baby booties to new royal baby

An animal rights group gifted a pair of baby booties made of bamboo and cotton yarn with a bear’s face to the new royal baby.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) dispatched the cute gift to Prince William and Duchess Catherine for their new arrival.

PETA said they chose the hand-crocheted booties because plant-based yarns are “softer” on a baby’s skin and “kinder to sheep” than wool.

PETA UK Director Mimi Bekhechi said: “These little wool-free booties will be a warm and kind welcome for the new little prince or princess.”
