Livingston caretaker manager David Hopkin admits the Lions are hoping to re-sign Dundee United goalkeeper Marc McCallum on loan.

Darren Jamieson was restored to the goals for Livingston’s last two matches, defeats to Falkirk and Queen of the South, but Hopkin admits the West Lothian side still want to bring back McCallum.

Former Scotland midfielder Hopkin, who is also keen for the dugout uncertainty to be clarified having taken charge of three matches since Mark Burchill’s dismissal, said: “I think it’s one we’re still trying to get done, I think the club are desperate to get Marc back in.

“DJ has come in in the last two games and not had anything to do but he’s conceded four goals.”
