Hibs head coach Alan Stubbs insists he does not expect any more comings and goings at the Easter Road club before tonight’s transfer window slams shut.

The former Celtic defender has already snapped up five new faces in the last month after recruiting Anthony Stokes, Kevin Thomson, Chris Dagnall, Niklas Gunnarsson and Otso Virtanen.

But as Hibs prepare for tomorrow night’s Championship clash at Morton before taking on city rivals Hearts in the Scottish Cup on Sunday, Stubbs does not envisage any more movement.

Speaking at lunch-time, Stubbs, whose side set up a League Cup final showdown with Ross County on March 13 after being St Johnstone in Saturday’s semi-final, said: “I am not going to say we won’t do anything but I am not anticipating doing any business.

“I am very content with my squad and I do not envisage doing anything but if something cropped up and we felt that it would be of real benefit to us then we would never say never.

“There will be no players leaving the club either unless I get late phone calls.

“I certainly do not expect to see anybody go out or anybody coming in unless Wayne Rooney becomes available!

“There has been no bids or contact from any clubs for any of my players and that would not be welcome.

“That may change in the net few hours as you know what transfer deadline day is like.”
