Livingston are weighing up a move for former Airdrie and Huddersfield Town striker Liam Coogans.
The 19-year-old has been training with the Lions as manager David Hopkin bids to remove his Championship side from their current place in the relegation play-off zone.
League One leaders Dunfermline had been running the rule over the teenager following his departure from Huddersfield in recent weeks.
Coogans, who had trials with Celtic and Blackburn Rovers after making his first-team breakthrough at Airdrie as a 16-year-old in 2013, featured for the Fifers in an under-20s run-out against Falkirk last week.
But the youngster could now end up in the Championship if he impresses at Almondvale.
