Business Fives has launched Scotland’s first national business 5-a-side tournament and will raise money for the Trussell Trust foodbank charity in the process.
Eight sector heats, which will also offer business a networking platform, will take place at the Sighthill Powerleague in Edinburgh across the summer, with the national final due to be staged on September 1 at a venue to be confirmed.
Ian Esson, Scotland Partnership Coordinator for the Trussell Trust said: “We are delighted that Business Fives has chosen to partner with The Trussell Trust network of foodbanks in Scotland.
“These contributions will literally transform the lives of men, women and children across the whole of Scotland who are unable to put food on the table by ensuring we support our foodbanks well so they can support our communities well.”
The tournament takes place every Thursday during the summer, with places limited to 16 teams per heat.
There will be opportunities throughout the afternoon to engage and network with peers in your sector.
A key industry speaker will talk before each heat and the tournament will be followed by a drinks reception where prizes will be presented.
