Celtic defender Mikael Lustig admits he was stunned to discover that he had become an internet sensation for his dancing.
After scoring the second goal in Sunday’s 3-0 friendly victory over Wales, the Sweden internationalist re-enacted the jig that he was filmed performing in the Hoops’ gym.
Celtic’s official television channel caught Lustig dancing to Avicii’s Waiting For Love hit and included the video on a best bits compilation for the season.
The 29-year-old was surprised to learn that the video had gone viral online.
Lustig said: “I was a bit shocked when I saw it, I had no idea that they got it on film.
“My team-mates are wondering what I’m doing. But I’m glad it came out.”
Asked if he will celebrate in a similar fashion if he scores at Euro 2016, Lustig, replied: “If I remember.”
