HIBERNIAN striker James Keatings has been ruled out until December after suffering a knee injury in Saturday’s 3-1 win over Dunfermline.

The former Hearts and Celtic front-man picked up the knock as he charged down a clearance in the second half of the hard-fought victory in Fife.

He had to be replaced by Martin Boyle and was sent for a scan on Monday to assess the extent of the damage.

And a “gutted” Keatings took to Twitter yesterday to confirm that he faces six weeks on the sidelines and will miss crucial encounters against early title rivals Dundee United, Falkirk and Queen of the South.
