RB Leipzig head coach Ralph Hasenhüttl insists it is just a matter of time before Scotland forward Oliver Burke becomes a regular starter.

And Hasenhüttl admits he wants the 19-year-old to convert to a central attacking position at ‘number ten’ instead of being a winger.

Burke earned a £13 million summer switch to Germany from Nottingham Forest during the summer on the back of his eye catching displays on the flank for the English Championship club.

Hasenhüttl, however, is adamant that Burke will more than justified the transfer fee that Leipzig shelled out on the Kirkcaldy-born player.

He said: “It’s just a matter of time before he’s on the field. Oliver Burke is getting better and more and more tactical, he is learning very quickly and is an option at number ten.

“We have been looking at this position but we need to be able to adapt to this position.

“It’s not going to happen tomorrow but he can become an absolute weapon.”
