DUNCAN Bannatyne has re-ignited his feud with Apprentice star Karren Brady, describing her as a “nasty piece of trash”.
The 67-year-old businessman, originally from Clydebank, West Dunbartonshire, took to Twitter last night to slam Brady following an episode of the hit BBC show, in which she serves as an advisor.
His comments come after a the pair had become embroiled in a spat in December last year, when Brady branded a photo of him kissing his fiancée, Nigora Whitehorn, 36, as “hilariously repulsive”.
At the time, the former Dragon’s Den star shot back and branded Baroness Brady, a “coward” for her comments.
His latest comments came in response to a Tweet from Faye Watt, who was angered by Baroness Brady’s actions during last night’s episode of ‘The Apprentice’, in which candidates had to find bargain buys.
She had tweeted: “Bl***y hell Karren Brady, get off your high horse. Bringing other women down is not okay. #TheApprentice.”
Bannatyne spotted her commented and shared them with his 870,000 followers and added: “Oh she does that constantly. She is a nasty piece of trash.”
Some of the Scottish businessmen’s followers seemed to support his opinion.
Mark Hillman replied: “More front than Blackpool. Horrible women.”
Malcolm Setton wrote: “And what the hell was she wearing? #Drab.”
The animosity between the pair of business heavyweights stretches back to December 2015, when Brady, who is also vice-chairman of West Ham Football Club, wrote about a photo of Bannatyne kissing his younger partner.
In her newspaper column, she wrote: “At 66 he has taken up with his second mid-30s partner this year and flaunts it by posting a hilariously repulsive picture, of him snogging this young lady.”
Bannatyne responded over Twitter and wrote: “Brady is a complete coward to attack my girlfriend in this way. Total coward Brady. To attack an innocent girl that has no route of reply is cowardly.”
Karren Brady currently serves as an assistant to Alan Sugar on ‘The Apprentice’, serving as his eyes and ears whilst the candidates are out on tasks.
She also serves as vice-chairman for Premier League football club West Ham. The club have recently come under-fire for fan safety following their summer move to the Olympic Stadium.
