A BIZARRE image of a mystery man playing a baby grand piano in the middle of a windswept Scottish moor has left the internet baffled.

The musician, who is wearing red gloves and has his hood up and head turned away from the camera, is playing the instrument on Rannoch Moor with the mountains of Glencoe in the backghround.

The caption states: “Casually playing piano at Rannoch Moor on Sunday afternoon….as you do”.

Gavin Morrison, 49, from Gourock, Inverclyde, spotted the weird scene and took the picture while driving home from a day out.

His wife, Catriona, 52, who uploaded the image said: “We couldn’t believe our eyes when we saw the guy with the grand piano at the side of Rannoch Moor!”

“My husband stopped and asked if he could take a picture and the guy in the photo was more than happy but in his excitement at getting yet another unique picture he forgot to ask the guy exactly what it was he was doing playing a piano in Rannoch Moor!”
