NEIL LENNON insists Hibs will only improve when Anthony Stokes returns to action.
The capital club are on a blistering run of form, racking up three victories in the space of seven days to roar into third spot in the Premiership.
That has been achieved without their Irish frontman, who has been absent with an ankle knock after starting this season with eight goals in 12 appearances.
Lennon hopes to welcome Stokes back to action imminently and is adamant he can link up with in-form attackers Simon Murray, Martin Boyle and Brandon Barker.
The Easter Road gaffer lauded: “Stokesy is a top player and we could be doing with him at the minute.
“I’m delighted with the front three – I’m delighted with the whole team at the minute – and Stokesy will just compliment that.
“If you look at the stats, he is always in-and-around dangerous area, creating chances and scoring goals.
“To be playing as well as we are without him encourages me a lot.”
