A COMPUTER manages to translate Scotland’s favourite insult from perfect Spanish into English in a hilarious video.
Sean McDonald is seen speaking into his computer: “Tu padre está vendiendo Avon y el mejor cliente es tu hermana pequeña.”
And a fraction of a second later, Google Translate comes up with: “Your father is selling Avon and the best customer is your little sister.”
The 27 year-old from Glasgow, laughs as the insult is read out in English at the same time.
Sean, who has been living in Barcelona for four years working for a software company said: “Someone told me you could speak into Google translate and it would translate it so I wanted to try it.
“It didn’t take me any time, I’m completely fluent in Spanish.
“I’ve lived in Barcelona for four years, my job is about 80% in Spanish. I’ve not said it to any Spanish or Catalan people, no. They’d probably get it though, you get Avon here.
“I’ve been speaking Spanish since the tail end of 2013, I learned it when I got here.”
Sean, posted the funny clip online earlier this week with the caption: “Embarrassed for your dad tbh!”

The hilarious insult “Yer da’ sells Avon” has become a viral sensation over the past two years.
In January this year, sports fan across Scotland were duped into thinking Aberdeen FC signed a new player named “Yerdss Selzavon” with broadcaster Sky embarrassingly announcing the signing online by mistake.
