HIBS head coach Paul Heckingbottom has been named Ladbrokes Premiership manager of the month for March following a blistering start to his Easter Road tenure.
Heckingbottom was presented with the award at the capital club’s training base on Thursday afternoon after guiding the Hibees to victories over Motherwell and Livingston, as well as claiming a hard-fought draw against Rangers.
Overall, the Englishman has secured 17 points from a possible 21 in the league since succeeding Neil Lennon in the middle of February, with his only defeat coming against Celtic in the Scottish Cup.
Hibs secured top-six football with a game to spare courtesy of their 0-0 stalemate against Kilmarnock on Wednesday night. Their final fixture before the split is Saturday’s mouth-watering derby against Hearts at Tynecastle.
