Highland hotel wins trio of awards

Atholl Palace Hotel has won the award for the best overall hotel for service and hospitality in the UK from Irish Coach tour operator, CIE Tours International.

The awards of excellence are given out annually to hotels and visitor attractions that record more that 90% customer satisfaction ratings.

More than 15,000 visitors brought to the UK by the tour company rated the four star hotel as their top pick for service and hospitality.

Elizabeth Crabill, Chief Executive of CIE Tours International, said: “The level of customer satisfaction achieved by our suppliers plays a vital role in our success.

“The aim of our awards is to encourage them to focus on the clients’ experience and improve standards of service, so it is gratifying to see the increase in suppliers being given 90% plus ratings.”
