We Hae Meat Launches new healthy eating kids range at Asda

The supermarket giant has partnered with a family butcher to provide healthy kids range of tractor shaped sausage slices.

The Ayrshire butcher We Hae Meat is celebrating after an exclusive agreement with Asda to stock a new range of healthy food for kids.

The beef sliced tractor sausage range will be available at 52 stores across Scotland for just £2.

The new deal is the family butcher’s first venture into developing a range of healthier sausage products for kids following a recent investment in new equipment and manufacturing process.

Asda are delighted to stocking the unique product

The new Sausage contains 50% less fat & salt per 100g than every other Scottish Kids sausage product. With added Vegetable fibre the We Hae Meat sausage will provide 5-11 years olds with a fifth of their daily RI & 52% of RI of Protein.

We Hae Meat are excited by the new partnership with the supermarket giant.

Director of We Hae Meat, Carlyn Paton, said: “This is a very exciting opportunity to launch our brand-new kids sausage range in Asda stores across the country. We’ve three children ourselves, so our priority was to create a product which delivers on nutritional value as well as taste.

“The new deal marks the start of We Hae Meat’s expansion into the kid’s sausage market, helping us to meet the growing demand for high quality and convenient meat products, which have the right balance for health and well-being for children.”

Asda are delighted to be the first supermarket to stock this product.

The tractor slices will be available in 52 stores across Scotland

Cabinet Secretary for Health and Sport, Jeane Freeman visited the farm to celebrate the launch of the innovative new range which reduces calories, fats, and salt.

Freeman has commended We Hae Meat for their innovation.
