Loch Lomond Castle flats for sale after multi-million pound conversion

Homehunters are being offered the chance to live like royalty following the multi-million pound conversion of a 19th century Scottish baronial mansion.

One of Scotland’s most exclusive castles- located outside the village of Croftamie near Drymen – is offering potential buyers a limited range of luxury apartments.

Historic Dalnair Castle offers buyers an exclusive range of ten luxury two and three bed apartments.

The castle was purchased in 2016 by property development company FM Group and has undergone extensive refurbishment to a high standard after investing £3.3m.

Built in 1884 by Glasgow merchant, Thomas Brown, the castle boasts a striking tower and Tudor-arched doorway.

The apartments prices range from £310,000 to £575,000 for two and three bed apartments, with late entry in 2019.

The castle forms the centrepiece of the prestigious Dalnair Estate and is set within acres of rural landscape just on the edge of world-renowned Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, with access to both Glasgow and Stirling within 25 minutes.

FM Group will also be selling four large five bedroom homes located in the estates walled garden.

This will comprise two different styles – the Oak priced at £650k and the Beech style priced from £600k, with entry late 2019.

Robert Croll Sales Manager from FM Group said: “We are very proud to be bringing apartments in this historic castle and luxury homes in the castle’s walled garden onto the market.

“Living in such a stunning location will clearly prove an incredible draw for people and there is undoubtedly going to be extremely high demand.

“We look forward to welcoming people to Dalnair Estate and showing off these high-quality residential developments.”
