Other Details

Microsoft Corp talked about „Project xCloud“ in last October, as part of the testing of game streaming service, adapted to work on PC, consoles and mobile gadgets. Later on, the company revealed that streaming service uses hardware which reminds of Xbox One gaming consoles component.

In May blog post, the company stated :

“That means an existing library of more than 3,500 games will work on the service without any changes or modifications required by the developer.”

Predictions:

Meanwhile, experts have agreed that Microsoft Corp has a better position than other companies. It will help the company to concentrate on cloud gaming, thanks to infrastructure, content and overall experience. However, Internet speed could disturb game streaming. Reacting on this possibility, Xbox platform marketing director, Cindy Walker observed:

“The teams were looking into it and aim to use the preview launching in October to learn where the dead spots are”

At the same time, several enterprises plan to boost their revenues via game streaming. It includes companies like Nvidia Corp, Sony, Amazon.com Inc, and Electronic Arts. We look forward to seeing progressive streaming services in the near future!
