A FESTIVAL reveller has hit out at a fashion retailer after ripping her trousers whilst performing a dance move.

Bethany Wallace is seen mortified as she soon realises after dropping to the ground she’s torn her clothes.

The 24-year-old, from Lancaster, Lancashire, shared the embarrassing moment on Twitter as a warning not to buy Missguided clothing.

In the video, Bethany sporting a pair of black Missguided cargo pants, can be seen emerging from a Portaloo, dancing as her friend films her.

She turns around and energetically drops to the ground – only for her trousers to split completely in two.

An open-mouthed Bethany then turns back to the camera before collapsing into hysterics.

Her friend filming can be heard laughing as Bethany attempts to cover up the rip by backing into a nearby fence.

Bethany took to Twitter to share the awkward moment with the caption, “If anyone is considering buying @Missguided cargo pants don’t f*****g bother”.

The video has since gone viral, clocking up 60,000 views and over a thousand likes.

Social media users have reacted with amusement to the footage. Emma Chester commented, “I am howling, I’ve had this on loop for 20 minutes”.

Others were more sympathetic, Lois-Tracey Spencer wrote, “Babe! Feel for you x”.

While some questioned whether Bethany’s moves rather than the quality of clothing, were to blame.

Twitter user @Tazthebattlefield replied to the clip, “They weren’t engineered for that level of drop, I mean at least you weren’t commando chick”.

Missguided had a light-hearted response to Bethany’s criticism and appeared to have offerered some form of compensation.

They retweeted her video with the caption: “Business at the front party at the back. Check your DMs (direct messages) for a treat babe”.
