A well-known comedian in Scotland, he is adored by many which was clear from the passionate reactions when he took a seat centre stage for Limmy: Surprisingly Down to Earth, and Very Funny.

He started off by taking suggestions from the audience to act out some of his best-known vines, to which there was a cataclysm of suggestions.

Every vine he performed was just as good if not better than what his fans had already seen online.

He has recently released his autobiography which was the main focus of the night, but the evening was far from just a talk through his journey.

Reading from his book and going over some of the more hilarious moments throughout his childhood and career, he seemed very grounded, but retained his much loved Scottish humour throughout.

He is clearly still very in touch with his roots on the south side of Glasgow and discussed his character “Deedee” on his BBC Scotland show.

Ending the night with some hilarious and quick-witted responses, he did a Q&A with the audience which he thoroughly enjoyed.

“I’m making me laugh” – he said.
