The eye-popping picture, and instructions on how to find it, have become a big hit online.

One user wrote a guide on how to find the naked man.

It said: “Step one – Go to Google Maps. Step two – Type in “Pussy France”. Step three – Go directly to Street View. Step four- Swipe left.

“You’re Welcome.”

Twitter user, Rich Walker responded: “OMG! Go to google maps on your phone, in the search bar type pussy France, then open street view and swipe left.”

Responding to him, a woman called Victoria wrote: “Hahahahahahahaha! You t***!”

Pussy is a mountain village in the commune of La Léchère, about 100km away from Mont Blanc.

Google Maps was launched in 2005 and has become an essential navigation tool for millions of users around the world.

The software, which uses real-life images to generate a virtual map, has been known to capture some of the most weird and wonderful moments of human behaviour around the world.

People have been known for lifting their clothing when they spot the Google Maps cameras in their area.

Earlier this month a different naked man was spotted sitting alone in the open car boot of an open-topped vehicle parked in a residential driveway.

He looked as if he was climbing out of the bonnet in the image.

A concerned Google Maps user also spotted a ‘murder scene’ on an Edinburgh road in November 2017.

After police were called to the scene it was discovered that upon seeing the Google Maps camera, a man had decided to stage the muder – and posed with an axe over a mate that was laying on the ground.
