Mad Dog 2020 Casting to be the first ever third party to live stream BAFTA’s TV craft awards

A CASTING agency that supplied artists for the Trial of Christine Keeler, Top Boy and Sex Education will be the first third party to stream the TV craft awards live.

Mad Dog 2020 Casting will be streaming the British Academy Television Craft Awards on their Facebook page tomorrow from 7pm.

The casting agency have been given the honours to live stream the event  in celebration of being an official TV craft Partner to BAFTA.

Mad Dog 2020 Casting are no strangers to BAFTA-winning productions, having provided Supporting Artists for a number of television and film award-winners in recent years.

Mad Dog 2020 Casting has also supplied artists for some of this year’s TV Craft nominees, including The Trial of Christine Keeler, Top Boy, End of the F****** World and Sex Education.

The ceremony will be hosted by nine-time presenter Stephen Mangan in a socially distanced, studio.

The streaming of the ceremony gives the public along with industry professionals the opportunity to enjoy the ceremony from the comfort of their own homes.

Broadcasting this year’s TV Craft Awards online, ensures the unsung heroes of TV production are still given the celebration they deserve, virtually applauding their contribution to another outstanding year of television.

Ncuti Gatwa who played Otis’s best friend Eric in popular Netfix series Sex Education was nominated for Best male performance in a comedy. The series is also nominated for production, scripted casting and breakthrough talent.

The BAFTA TV Craft Awards will live stream online via the Mad Dog 2020 Casting Facebook page and BAFTA YouTube channel at 7 pm on Friday 17th July.
