THIS is the moment a man tries to break into an ambulance while paramedics give medical attention to an elderly patient.

The dramatic scene was caught on CCTV in Blackpool, Lancashire.

Paramedics had been called to the scene on Wednesday [12 Aug] to assist a pensioner who had fallen after a fit, but instead ended up tackling the man who attempted to gain access to their vehicle.

The video shows the man dressed in dark clothing approach the ambulance which is parked next to a bus stop.

The man begins to inspect the vehicle by first looking through the driver’s window then walking to the back doors.

After appearing to check nobody is around, he opens the driver’s side door.
