Public Relations

I have a PR related event I’d like featured on your website – what should I do?

At Deadline News we are delighted to receive email notifications about all PR events happening in our news area.

Such press releases will be subject to our news teams’ editorial scrutiny and if we feel they stand up as a story worth covering, we consider them on merit. Stories will be used free of charge as part of our normal news agenda.

We may also feature news snippets on our social media channels including Facebook and Twitter.

This does not, however, guarantee they will be featured.

To ensure a story is featured on our website, you can buy an advertorial space. This is a story which is clearly marked as having been paid so that readers are made aware that the article is weighted with a different news value.

Our introductory fees for this service start at £200* a week including copywriting for a single story, £400* a week including photography or video for a single story or £500* a week for a single story featuring all three multi-media elements.

All fees are subject to VAT. (* prices as of November 2010)

Alternatively, you can consider purchasing one of our value for money self-fulfilment advertising spaces which can link back to your own or client website.
