    The editorial team works under the close supervision of seasoned campaigner Shaun Milne, former Associate News Editor of the Scottish Daily Record and one time Deputy Editor of the Scottish Daily Mirror. Milne, who previously worked as a reporter across various titles in London and Scotland is a keen advocate of digital and social media platforms having run his own award winning publishing company, and led the redevelopment of the current Deadline News online presence. Well known as a media commentator in Press and broadcasting circles through his long running Milne Media blog, he was elected as a Fellow to the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce in 2008 and currently co-hosts weekly media podcast Quiet News Day.

    Peter Laing is Chief Reporter with Deadline News bringing years of top level newspaper experience to this vital role. Prior to joining the agency he was working for The Times and Sunday Times Scotland having spent eight years as News Editor of Scotland on Sunday. He trained with local papers in the south of England before joining the Edinburgh Evening News in 1992, eventually becoming Crime Reporter. He moved to the Daily Record in 1996 as a general reporter based in its Edinburgh office, before he was appointed home affairs correspondent with Scotland on Sunday and later Chief Reporter before running the busy news desk.

    Graduating from the NCTJ Photography course in Sheffield in 2000 having previously worked on local newspapers in Cheshire, Katielee spent two years with News Team International in Birmingham before moving to South West News in Bristol as senior photographer. She later joined the Los Angeles branch of Splash News and Pictures as part of the paparazzi before returning to the Fleet Street circuit as Chief Photographer with a London based agency covering news, features and showbiz for all the major titles.

    Born in Italy, Lorenzo moved to London in his early 20?s and from there went on travelling through Europe before settling in Edinburgh, where he has lived and studied photography for the past few years. His images have graced the front pages of Scotland’s biggest selling newspapers, and have been used for many of the UK’s best known PR campaigns. He is one of Scotland’s best known and respected photographers.

    Cara holds the important position of Court reporter covering the worst of crime across Edinburgh, Fife and the Lothians having previous undertaken roles as features writer and news reporter with the agency. She previously spent much of her career living in Asia travelling across Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia and is a graduate of the Scottish Centre for Journalism Studies. Having also completed an under-grad course in English, she arrived in media working for a features agency in England before finally being snapped up by Deadline News.
