Detectives relieved over Peter Tobin verdict in Vicky Hamilton murder case

Police officers involved in the Vicky Hamilton murder investigation said Peter Tobin’s conviction has ended a 17-year nightmare.

Malcolm Graham, Detective Chief Superintendent, thanked officers for the hard work to achieve the result.

He said: “The crime was particularly brutal and Peter Tobin has continued to deny any involvment and continued not to assist police in any way.”
