Man Is Reported To Crown After £12k Fife Drugs Find

A 40-YEAR-OLD man is to be reported to the Procurator Fiscal in connection with a £12,000 haul of cannabis plants in Fife.

Police acting on a tip off raided an address in the Garvock area of Dunfermline last Friday and seized the crop.

A spokesman said the man would now be reported in connection with the find under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

Constable Michael Hogg said: “Acting on community intelligence and in response to concerns expressed by the local community, Fife Police executed a drugs search warrant at an address in the Garvock area of Dunfermline.

“As a result of this search, class B drugs with a value of £12,000 were recovered.”

“A 40-year-old man is to be reported to the Procurator Fiscal in Dunfermline for Misuse of Drugs Act offences.”

He added: “Fife Police would like to thank the local community for their assistance in helping us target local drug dealers in the community.

“I would ask that this assistance continue and any information the public have in respect of persons dealing in controlled drugs be passed to Fife Police on 0845 600 5702 or by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
