Dad tribute to “beautiful” daughter Nattalie

A GRIEVING dad paid tribute to his “beautiful, loving, caring and generous” daughter who died at the weekend following an incidnet in Whitburn, West Lothian.

Nattalie Muir, 21, was found with serious injuries in the town centre just before 3am on Saturday.

She was taken to Wishaw General Hospital but later died.

Her father, Callum Muir, 41, issued a statement through Lothian and Borders Police on behalf of the whole family.

He said: “Nattalie’s death has had a devastating effect on all of us, and we are struggling to come to terms with our loss.

“She was a devoted mother to her daughter Paige, and was adored by everyone who knew her.

“She was beautiful, loving, caring and generous, with a great personality and sense of fun.

“Her loss in such tragic circumstances has been a huge shock to all of us, but we will always treasure the happy memories of her as a loving mum, sister, daughter, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and of course, friend.

“We still cannot believe that this has happened to such a loving and happy young person.

“We will make sure that Paige will never forget you darling.”

The young mum was found in Brucefield Drive opposite East Main Street in Whitburn.

A 15-year-old was due to appear at Livingston Sheriff Court today (Mon) charged her murder.

A 39-year-old man and 19-year-old woman were also due to appear in court in connection with her death.
