Missing woman may have been Capital bound

A WOMAN missing from the North East of Scotland may have headed for Edinburgh, police revealed today (fri).

Kirsten Cook from Marykirk has been reported missing and has not been seen since 07:20 am on Tuesday at Laurencekirk Railway Station.

She was described as 20 years of age, white, medium build, approximately five feet four inches in height with dark and light brown hair.

When she was last seen she was wearing black ‘Bench jacket, pink t-shirt, denim leggings, Black UGG boots, carrying a black rucksack and large black shoulder bag.

It is suspected that she may have got on a train destined for Edinburgh.

Sergeant David Blackwood, of Stonehaven Local Policing team, said: “I would ask Kirsten or anyone who may have seen her to get in touch with police to let us know that she is safe and well.”
