TWO drivers have died after a head-on collision on the Edinburgh Bypass
The accident took place at around 1.15 am this morning (Sun) on the A720 near the Sherrifhall Roundabout.
Both drivers suffered fatal injuries and died on scene.
There were no passengers in either of the cars.
Next of kin have been informed.
Police are now appealing to anyone who may have seen either a vehicle being driven eastbound on the westbound carriageway or witnessed the accident to contact them on 0131 311 3131.
