Motorcyclist hospitalised after crash near Fairmuir Park in Dundee

A 49-year-old motorcyclist suffered a broken leg and possible internal injuries after a crash near Fairmuir Park in Dundee today.

The man was taken by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital in the city at about 1pm this afternoon after the blue Honda CBR motorcycle he was riding was involved in a collision with a car.

His injuries are currently being assesed at hospital.

The 20-year-old driver of the silver Vauxhall Corsa was uninjured.

The road was closed for a time while the incident was dealt with.

Officers are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident, or who saw the vehicles before the collision to contact them on 0300 111 2222.
